We're very excited to announce Woodchurch Sparkling Rosé has won Kent wine of the year at the 2020 Taste of Kent awards. It's an absolute privilege and honour to be selected as the winner against other top wine producers in Kent. We had a wonderful time at the awards dinner - delicious local food was served and we got to meet lots of other local producers and sponsors.

The Taste of Kent Awards is now in its sixteenth year and it is recognized as the outstanding annual showcase of Kent food and drink. We're very grateful to all the sponsors who make the awards possible, and special thanks to NFU Mutual, Ashford and Tenterden who sponsored the Kent wine of the year award.

This award means so much to us - the title of Best Wine in Kent will really help to promote our wine to both local and national wine merchants and restaurants. This means more people will get to enjoy our wines and we can continue to grow our business.

Our Rosé is made from the Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier varieties grown on our single estate vineyard in Woodchurch, Kent. Our approach to wine-making is to intervene as little as possible during the production process so that the wine retains its natural fruit notes and the amazingly ripe flavours that come from fruit grown in Kent are preserved. Rose gold in colour with floral and red berry aromas, the wine is full of fruit flavours including strawberry, peach and melon combined with tangy citrus notes.
