New Sparkling Wine Releases 24, Aug 2022
We’re delighted to announce two new releases this month! A Rosé Brut from 2018 and a Chardonnay Brut from 2016. We're particularly excited with these releases as we feel they are two of the best sparkling wines we've produced so far.
Woodchurch Rosé Brut
A blend of 60% Pinot Noir 20% Pinot Meunier and 20% Chardonnay. Copper-pink in colour with aromas of strawberry sorbet and tangerines while on the palate this wine is bursting with red fruit flavours, wild berries, plums and hints of rose, followed by a bright, clean yet complex finish.
Lees aging: 36 months
Disgorged: April 2022
Dosage: 8 g/l
Woodchurch Chardonnay Brut
Aromas of peach and honeysuckle, on the palate this wine offers flavours of lemon meringue with hints of toffee apple and butterscotch. With almost 5 years of lees aging it has a rich and creamy character yet with a crisp acidity, leading to a long, finely balanced finish.
